The episode begins with Dadi confronting Shubh, asking him if it is true that he tried to send Lalon to jail to break Appu’s marriage. Shubh denies the accusation, but Anjana steps forward and confirms that it is indeed true. She reveals that the commissioner had to intervene to save Appu’s life. Dadi is devastated as Anjana questions Shubh’s motives, asking why he acted against them and Lalon. She adds that they chose Lalon for Appu out of love, but it seems Shubh doesn’t view them as equals. Anjana further expresses that they live in this house because of their parents, hinting that Shubh’s actions are driven by a sense of superiority.

Anirudh, trying to ease the situation, tells Jhanak not to take his parents’ words to heart. He turns to Shrishti, cautioning her about blaming others and warning her that the same thing could happen to her one day. He continues, pointing out that Shubh’s mistakes have been forgiven only because Lalon decided not to press charges. Later that night, Anjana, feeling emotional, says that she won’t be able to stay with Appu after the rasam and that although they are part of a large family, there is no one else to bless her as she embarks on a new journey. Dadi blesses Appu, and Anuradha tries to comfort her, saying they will do their best to arrange the bou bhat at a nearby school.

She assures Appu that Lalon will work hard to give her a good life. Dadi, still emotional, tells Appu she can come home whenever she wants. Appu, sensing some resistance, asks Dadi if she won’t visit her sasural just because they are poor. Dadi denies this but admits she is growing old and might not be able to come on her own. Appu, however, accuses her of lying, implying that Dadi is afraid Shubh will be angry if she visits. Appu reflects on her father’s teachings, stating that she always speaks the truth.

Anirudh, in an attempt to lighten the mood, tells Appu that he and Choton will visit her, revealing that Choton has gone out to buy a surprise gift for her. Appu, always thoughtful, requests that Choton bring Meenu along when he comes to visit. She also expresses her concern that Jhanak, after moving to Mumbai, won’t come to meet her. Anirudh, teasing Jhanak, reminds her that she will have to live in Aditya’s house. Lalon chimes in, saying they will leave if Jhanak continues to give them so much respect, to which Jhanak sarcastically thanks him. Anjana asks why Meenu didn’t show up, and Bablu speculates that Choton must have upset her, as he often does. Appu agrees, acknowledging that Choton tends to cause trouble.

Toward the end of the episode, Dadi apologizes to Lalon for previously insulting him. She admits that she now sees him as a gem and encourages him to prove his worth to those who doubted him. Lalon humbly replies that his only goal is to prove himself to his wife. Appu, still cheerful, jokes that she understands that “wife” means “bride” and laughs at her own innocence.
